Day 4 - Sunday Sermon Recap
Welcome to day number 4 of our devotional based on last Sunday’s Sermon:
Colossians 3:1-4: If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
As we heard in the sermon, our primary identity should be in Christ, not in our accomplishments, roles, or relationships. In his letter to the Colossians Paul urges his readers to set their minds on things above, recognizing that their lives are hidden with Christ in God.
Today, take some time to examine where you find your sense of worth and identity. Are you more defined by your job title, your family role, or your achievements than by your relationship with Christ? Ask God to help you root your identity more deeply in Him, finding security and purpose in being His beloved child.
