Day 2 -Sunday Sermon Recap

Welcome to day 2 of our devotional based on last Sunday’s testimony:

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Jesus' command to His disciples at the end of Matthew’s gospel applies to all believers. As believers we are all called to make disciples of all nations. This doesn't necessarily mean everyone must move overseas, however it does mean that we all have a role to play in fulfilling this command. If I am not a goer this means that I am a sender. It means that I am responsible for supporting those who have made the sacrifice to leave their homes, their families and friends through prayer and giving. 

Consider how you can participate in the Great Commission right where you are. Could you support a missionary, volunteer locally, or share your faith with a neighbor? Ask God to show you specific ways you can be obedient to this calling in your daily life.
