Day 1 - Sunday Sermon Recap
Welcome to day number 1 of our daily devotional based on last Sunday’s sermon: Psalm chapter 46 verses 1 through 3: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. As we enter a new year, uncertainty often looms large. Yet Psalm 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Just as the psalmist faced metaphorical mountains falling into the sea, we too may encounter upheavals in our lives. But our security isn't found in stable circumstances; it's found in an unchanging God. Today, reflect on areas of your life where you need God's refuge. How can you actively seek His presence as your stronghold amid life's storms? Remember, with God as our refuge, we need not fear, even when the earth gives way.
